Defender Heber has been in Magdeburg since January 2023. For coach Titz, he is an important cornerstone of the team.

Defender Daniel Heber will continue to play for 1. FC Magdeburg in the future. The second-division soccer club announced that the contract with the 30-year-old has been extended. As usual, FCM did not disclose the term of the new contract.

Heber joined Magdeburg from Rot-Weiss Essen in January 2023 and has played 81 competitive matches to date. He has scored three goals and provided two assists. In the men's game, the Neuss native played for VfL Bochum II, Rot-Weiss Oberhausen and Rot-Weiss Essen, where he already worked with his current Magdeburg coach Christian Titz.

"Daniel has developed into an important cornerstone for us in recent years with his speed and tackling ability. The way he contributes to the team as a personality is also a good sign for the team and the club," said Titz.
