League newcomer Dresdner Eislöwen will play against defending champions Eisbären Berlin in the new DEL season under the open sky. The two clubs will face each other in the DEL Winter Game on January 10, 2026 (5 p.m.), as announced by the league.
The game will take place at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, where Dynamo Dresden's footballers usually play their home games. Up to 32,000 fans can attend. Advance ticket sales start today.
The DEL had already announced last week that the Berliners and the Saxons would play the opening game in the capital on September 9 (7.30 pm).
