The announced XXL shake-up at third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue is progressing rapidly. The Veilchen announced the signing of Moritz Seiffert. The 24-year-old left-back comes to the Lößnitz Valley from league rivals FC Ingolstadt. Seiffert is new signing number six and the second from Ingolstadt after Ryan Malone.
Seiffert was born in Bremen and played as a youth player at Jeddeloh and FC St. Pauli. In 2020, he moved to Viktoria Berlin and was promoted to the 3rd division with the team. In the summer of 2023, he moved to Ingolstadt. However, things did not go well last season, with Seiffert only playing 269 minutes. "That's why I'm very grateful to those responsible for the trust they've placed in me," said the defender.
