Xaver Schlager is back in team training at RB Leipzig. The Austrian international, who had been out for over three weeks with a muscle injury in his calf, returned to training with the Saxon Bundesliga club on Tuesday. Timo Werner (groin problem) and Kevin Kampl (infection), who were missing from the squad for the 1-1 draw in Dortmund in the Bundesliga, were also back in the thinned-out professional squad, which had been bolstered with ten U19 players, during the international break.
Eleven internationals on the road with RB
With the German internationals Ridle Baku and David Raum, the Austrians Christoph Baumgartner and Nicolas Seiwald as well as Antonio Nusa (Norway), Willi Orban (Hungary), Maarten Vandevoordt (Belgium) and Yan Diomande, who was nominated for the first time for the Ivory Coast, eight senior internationals alone are on the road. They are joined by U21 internationals Assan Ouedraogo for Germany, Conrad Harder for Denmark and Ezechiel Banzuzi for the Netherlands.
