The 6-0 defeat on the first matchday of the season is still fresh in the Saxons' minds. They have nothing to lose in the second leg.

RB Leipzig go into Saturday's top game in the Bundesliga (6.30pm/Sky) against FC Bayern Munich with the aim of showing everyone that they have developed enormously over the course of the season. The 6-0 defeat on matchday 1 is to be erased from their minds in the game to kick off the second half of the season. They will not just focus on their opponents, but also bring their own strengths into play and try to annoy Bayern with them, announced coach Ole Werner.

RB will have to do without young international Assan Ouédraogo, who suffered another knee injury in the game against SC Freiburg (2-0). He will be replaced by Benjamin Henrichs, another international who could make his comeback after a year out through injury. Henrichs tore his Achilles tendon in the 5-1 defeat to Bayern last season and has been absent since then.
