RB Leipzig start against Union with Gulacsi and Orban

RB Leipzig will not only start against 1. FC Union Berlin with goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi in goal, but also with defender Willi Orban. The RB captain will therefore make his comeback to the starting eleven in the Bundesliga on Sunday after 154 days, after the central defender tore the collateral ligament in his knee in mid-September. He was last substituted late on in Stuttgart. With Mohamed Simakan suspended, Lukas Klostermann will play alongside Orban. Castello Lukeba takes his place on the bench. Xavi Simons is back after his yellow card suspension. RB coach Marco Rose makes five changes from the 5-2 defeat in Stuttgart. Kevin Kampl starts for Nicolas Seiwald.

New attacking signing Yorbe Vertessen makes his debut for Union. Head coach Nenad Bjelica, who will serve the second game of his ban for unsportsmanlike conduct against Leipzig, makes a total of four changes, including in goal, where Alexander Schwolow comes in for the ill Frederik Rönnow. Compared to the 1-0 win over Darmstadt, Danilho Doekhi comes in for Diogo Leite, who is also ill, and Janik Haberer replaces Alex Kral.
