Internet star and footballer Nader Jindaoui has said he needs to get married quickly in a civil ceremony for his family's US visa. "Guys, we have a little problem. I just got a call from the club. I'm not allowed to take Louisa and the kids to America because we're not married in a civil ceremony," the 28-year-old said in an Instagram video. "Can someone get us a registry office appointment? We need the appointment before we have to go to the embassy."
According to a report in the "Bild" newspaper, the Jindaouis are only married in Islam. This was confirmed to the newspaper by the ex-Hertha kicker's management. The Berlin-born player announced in a YouTube video with his wife on Sunday that he had signed a contract in the USA. The video featured the logo of the Los Angeles Galaxy, the MLS team of former international Marco Reus.
The club told "T-Online", however, that Jindaoui had signed a contract with the Galaxy's farm team, Ventura County FC. The Galaxy and Ventura County have not yet reported the signing on their channels.
