After the riots in the second division match at Dynamo Dresden, Hertha BSC is threatening its supporters with harsh consequences. "Stadium bans. We will certainly also have to discuss how membership will be exercised. From our point of view, this discussion is unavoidable," managing director Peter Görlich told the "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung".
At the match on April 4, supporters of both teams had climbed over barrier fences and attacked each other inside the stadium with fireworks, among other things. Police officers then intervened, separated the camps and secured the pitch. Dresden had also threatened its supporters with stadium bans and the withdrawal of their membership.
