Third division soccer club Erzgebirge Aue have signed Can Özkan from league rivals Arminia Bielefeld. As the Veilchen announced on Wednesday, the 24-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a contract until June 2026. "We have looked very closely at this personnel matter and see in Can Özkan exactly the skills and virtues that we need for the important position centrally in front of the defense," sports director Matthias Heidrich was quoted as saying in the press release.
