Erzgebirge Aue parts with defender Alexander Sorge

Football third division FC Erzgebirge Aue has parted ways with Alexander Sorge. As the club announced on Friday, the central defender moves to the southwest regional league team Kickers Offenbach. The 30-year-old no longer played a role in the plans of coach Pavel Dotchev.

Sorge had come a year ago from Türkgücü Munich to the Erzgebirge. In total, he ran up 28 times for the violets in the league and in the cup and played 1388 minutes. His contract in Aue originally ran until 2024.
