After extending the contract of veteran Boris Tashchy, Erzgebirge Aue have now signed William Kallenbach to a professional contract. This was announced by the third division club on Wednesday. The 18-year-old attacking player comes from the club's youth ranks and has great potential. "Both in training and in the three competitive matches he has played for our professional team and the U19s so far, he has proven his abilities as a flexible and technically gifted footballer," said sporting director Matthias Heidrich about Kallenbach, who joined the Veilchen from Rot-Weiß Erfurt in the summer of 2021.
