If it were up to the statistics, the winner of the Bundesliga match between VfL Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky) would be a foregone conclusion. In 25 games, Leipzig have come away winners 13 times. But despite three wins in a row, coach Ole Werner's charges are still far from being able to take any opponent lightly.
They have to work hard for every win, said Werner. With the exception of the long-term injured Kosta Nedeljkovic, Max Finkgräfe and Benjamin Henrichs as well as the not yet fully fit Xaver Schlager, he can send the best possible line-up onto the pitch. However, this does not mean that his team is already stable. The team's development is still in the early stages.
