The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office has had four men arrested for their alleged role in the "Kingdom of Germany" group. Two of them are now in custody.

After arrests and searches at the "Reichsbürger" group "Kingdom of Germany", two of the four men arrested are in custody. This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office in Karlsruhe. The investigating judge at the Federal Court of Justice issued a second arrest warrant. The founder of the group, Peter Fitzek, will also be brought before the court later today, while the fourth accused will not be brought before the court until Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) banned the "Kingdom of Germany" association, which is considered the largest group of so-called Reich citizens and self-administrators. Buildings used by the association and the homes of leading members were searched in several federal states. The federal prosecutor's office had four suspected ringleaders arrested: the "supreme sovereign" Fitzek, two other founding members and a man who is said to have been responsible for the group's finances.
