A 26-year-old man has died in a swimming accident in a natural lake in Pirna-Copitz. Bathers observed the man sinking into the water on Thursday, according to the police.
Rescue teams from the German Life Saving Association (DLRG) searched for the man. However, they could only discover him dead. The police are now investigating the exact cause of death. Several media outlets had previously reported on the case.
