From young Komodo dragons to rare iguanas: what visitors can discover in the newly renovated terrarium at Leipzig Zoo.

Following extensive renovation work, visitors can once again marvel at exotic animals in the terrarium at Leipzig Zoo from Saturday. Jamaican iguanas, alligators, poisonous snakes, radiated tortoises and newts can be discovered, as the zoo announced. The seven Komodo dragons, which only hatched in August, are a special attraction.

Behind the historic façade of the building, which was built in 1913, there is a tour of the aquarium. Visitors are guided through evolution and the path of life from water to land, according to the zoo.
