Vacation planes take off for the start of the vacations in the south

At Easter, holidaymakers can fly to numerous sunny destinations from Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports. From Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, a total of 101 passenger aircraft will be taking off - 36 in Dresden and 65 in Leipzig/Halle. Destinations will include the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, the Red Sea and major European cities, according to Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG. "We are expecting a total of around 80,000 passengers during the Easter holiday period," said a spokesperson.
