The A4 near Bautzen is currently closed in the direction of Dresden due to a 400 to 500 meter long oil slick. The oil had leaked after an accident, according to the police. According to the report, a 26-year-old truck driver was forced off the road to the right by a previously unknown truck. When he tried to get back into the lane, his truck hit a crash barrier and ruptured the vehicle's oil tank. The property damage amounted to around 100,000 euros, no one was injured.
During the recovery operation, the A4 between the Salzenforst and Uhyst junctions in the direction of Dresden remains fully closed.
