After a man was driving a suspected stolen car on the Autobahn 4, he collided with a police vehicle near Glauchau (Zwickau district). According to the police, the man was being investigated in Thuringia. When he was on the run near Glauchau, local colleagues were asked to stop him in a roadworks area. However, the driver reportedly rammed into a police car.
Both vehicles were badly damaged. The man suffered minor injuries and was provisionally arrested. The A4 in the direction of Dresden is currently fully closed. One lane is open in the opposite direction.
