The Miniworld in Lichtenstein (Zwickau district) is waking up from its winter hibernation and invites visitors on a trip around the world again from Wednesday (April 1). Visitors can inspect more than 100 true-to-original buildings from antiquity to the present day on a scale of 1:25: from the Statue of Liberty to the Eiffel Tower, from Sanssouci Palace and St. Basil's Cathedral to the Taj Mahal.
The landscape park can be explored on foot. There are special offers on Easter days. According to the operators, the Easter bunny will be out and about on the grounds, and visitors can get creative themselves with Easter crafts and woodwork. And a music show by the band Queen will be shown in the planetarium.
A new projection system has reportedly been installed there: "With this technical quantum leap to 4K visual quality, visitors of all ages can rediscover the mini cosmos. The universe and the wonders of the world are literally within reach."
