On Wednesday morning, numerous U.S. military vehicles were spotted on Highway 4 near Dresden. The state command of the German Armed Forces announced that the military vehicles were also on the road in the Frankenberg area, moving along highways 4 and 72 between Chemnitz, Dresden and Görlitz. Two weeks ago, a group of more than 1,000 U.S. servicemen and women, along with more than 500 vehicles from Vilseck, had made the trip to Poland to participate in a major NATO exercise. According to the U.S. military, the exercise in northern Poland focused on training the ability to rapidly increase troops.
