On May 22, the Leipzig Integration Fair offers comprehensive information on work and training opportunities for immigrants.

On Thursday, May 22, the 16th Integration Fair at the Eventpalast Leipzig (Puschstraße 10) will open its doors to (new) immigrants. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to find out about work and training opportunities. This year, Lord Mayor Burkhard Jung will once again be the patron of the event. Together with Miro Jennerjahn, Managing Director of Arbeit und Leben Sachsen e. V., Social Mayor Dr. Martina Münch will open the event. Admission to the fair is free of charge.

"Immigration plays a key role in securing jobs and skilled workers," explains Dr. Martina Münch. "The Leipzig Integration Fair brings together all the key players and companies to promote the integration and participation of immigrants. Visitors will find all the information they need to find work or training in the Leipzig region in one place."

More than 60 exhibitors will be presenting their job and training opportunities. They offer support on the path to training or work, information on the recognition of qualifications and work experience gained abroad as well as on language acquisition (during training or on the job) and qualification and further training opportunities. Additional workshops and the opportunity to have application documents checked round off the offer. Language mediators are available if required. Families are cordially invited and childcare will be provided to make the visit to the fair uncomplicated.
