The driver of a van is seriously injured in an accident on the A4 near Görlitz. The route has to be closed - with consequences that last into the evening.

The driver of a van was seriously injured in an accident on highway 4 just before the Königshain tunnel. As the police reported on request, he was traveling in the direction of Görlitz in the afternoon when he hit a truck in front for reasons that are as yet unexplained. Emergency services took the man to hospital. The lane in the direction of Görlitz had to be fully closed in the meantime due to the recovery work.
