The man hasn't had a driver's license for a good ten years, but he still drove a cab. Now a police check was his undoing. The lack of a driver's license was not the only shortcoming.

Police in the district of Görlitz have pulled a cab driver without a driver's license out of circulation. As it turned out, the 63-year-old had been without a valid driver's license since 2014, the police announced. A spokesperson was unable to give the reason when asked.

The man had been driving in Ebersbach-Neugersdorf when he was pulled over in his car. However, the lack of a driving license was not the only shortcoming. The passenger transport license he presented turned out to be a forgery, according to the police. The 63-year-old was banned from continuing his journey and the car had to be collected by another employee of the cab company.
