Tire Blows Out on A72: Injuries and Extensive Property Damage

A blown tire caused an accident with far-reaching consequences on Highway 72 near the Chemnitz-Süd interchange. The 26-year-old driver, his 25-year-old passenger, and two four-year-old girls were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the Chemnitz Police Department. 

The car crashed into a guardrail this Sunday after the tire blowout, according to the Chemnitz Police Department. The damage is estimated at around 43,000 euros. The lane heading toward Hof had to be completely closed for one hour.
