A 47-year-old driver has died in an accident in the Euba district of Chemnitz. According to the police, he had been driving on state road 236 towards Erdmannsdorf in the morning when his car left the road and crashed into several trees.
The driver suffered serious injuries and died at the scene of the accident. According to the police, the amount of property damage is estimated at several tens of thousands of euros. The road initially remained fully closed at the scene of the accident.
