A section of the A9 near Halle will be closed for several days from Sunday evening. According to a spokesperson for Autobahn GmbH, the section between the Halle junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction in the direction of Munich will be affected. It will begin on Sunday, March 15, at around 10 p.m. and is expected to last until Wednesday, March 18, 8 a.m.
The Wiedemar slip road in the direction of Munich will also be closed during this time. The Schkeuditzer Kreuz itself is not affected. A detour will lead from Halle via the B100 to the Schkeuditzer Kreuz junction. The reason for the work is damage to the carriageway caused by the frequent alternation of frost and thaw. The "Mitteldeutsche Zeitung" had previously reported this.
