Saxony is attracting visitors from near and far with a new campaign on the state's cultural heritage. The focus is on Unesco World Heritage: this includes the settlements of the Moravian Church as a World Heritage Site, the Upper Lusatian Heath and Pond Landscape Biosphere Reserve and the craftsmanship of the Ore Mountains as intangible cultural heritage.
Culture Minister Barbara Klepsch (CDU) explained in a press release that Saxony's rich cultural heritage is a unique selling point. "Whether it's architecture, crafts, music or traditions, it makes our state particularly worth experiencing for guests from all over the world." The new advertising campaign will help to ensure that as many people as possible can experience these treasures.
