The ThSV Eisenach handball team lost their home game against sixth-placed TBV Lemgo Lippe by 34:38 (14:15). Despite their 18th defeat of the season, the Thuringians remain in 13th place. Hendrik Wagner (9 goals), Nils Versteijnen (8) and Samuel Zehnder (6/3) played the biggest part in the East Westphalians' victory. Felix Aellen (8/4), Stephan Seitz (7) and Oskar Joelsson (5) scored the most goals for the home side.
The club from Thuringia got off to a good start and was 7:5 in front after twelve minutes. The home side was able to keep the game completely evenly poised up to 13:13 in the 26th minute and only trailed by a narrow margin at the break. After the break, Lemgo scored three goals in a row to decide the game in advance. The visitors did not let the 18:14 advantage (34') slip from their grasp and extended their lead to 29:23 after 47 minutes.
