RB Leipzig will be without their key players Antonio Nusa and Xaver Schlager for at least the upcoming home game against 1. FC Köln. The Bundesliga club announced that the 20-year-old Norwegian broke his right forearm during last Saturday's 1-0 win at FSV Mainz 05. The attacking player is due to undergo surgery this Tuesday.
Schlager will also be missing on Saturday (18:30/Sky). The Austrian international suffered a muscle injury in his right calf in Mainz. The midfielder was substituted in the 32nd minute. Leipzig announced that the downtime for both players would depend on the healing process.
