Mintzlaff opens RB office with Mateschitz son

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RB Leipzig recalled the founding idea of Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz, who died in 2022. "We have really, really inhabited this soccer map and it's hard to imagine life without us," said the 50-year-old, referring to the club's modern infrastructure.

After the rapid development with the Champions League, "we went back to Mr. Mateschitz, who said we should build something great, we have to give the club a real home in the long term. And we have that home here," said Mintzlaff in the middle of the RB headquarters with a total area of 14,500 square meters on four floors. During construction, 2,000 cubic meters of spruce wood from the Bavarian Forest were also used. Almost 290 photovoltaic modules on the roof and façade supply around 120,000 kWh of clean energy per year.
