Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has retained goalkeeper Elvira Herzog. The Swiss international extended her contract early until June 30, 2028.
The 26-year-old moved to Leipzig from 1. FC Köln in the summer of 2022. She has played 91 competitive matches for RB to date. "She has made huge strides in her development over the past few years," said Viola Odebrecht, Head of Women's and Girls' Football.
