The Bundesliga footballers from RB Leipzig have not lost their sixth game in a row. They won 2:0 (0:0) against SC Freiburg. Julia Landenberger (52) and Delice Boboy (78) scored for coach Jonas Stephan's team. Freiburg's Nicole Ojukwu (58) was shown a yellow card for repeated foul play. RB moved up to ninth place for the time being after the win.
After an even first half, in which goalkeepers Elvira Herzog (Leipzig) and Rebecca Adamczyk prevented clear scoring opportunities with strong saves, Leipzig turned up the heat. The 1:0 was a free kick from 18 meters that hit the crossbar. The second goal was also worth seeing. Boboy hit the bottom edge of the crossbar, from where the ball bounced over the line.
