More than 8000 fans welcomed home RB Leipzig's cup winners. The team presented the DFB Cup after the 2-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday at the New City Hall of the fair city. Beforehand, Willi Orban, Peter Gulacsi, coach Marco Rose, sports director Max Eberl and club boss Johann Plenge signed the city's Golden Book. The team then made its way through the city to the stadium in an open truck.

"We're celebrating to the hilt today," midfielder Kevin Kampl said to cheers from supporters. "After the summer break, we'll come back and then we'll try to get that damn championship title." Rose said, "We now have fans as high as Rostock. That makes me proud. Now we've talked enough and we'll just let it rip."
