Top talent Xavi Simons will only miss Bundesliga club RB Leipzig for a short time. The Dutch international suffered "no major structural injury" when he fell on his right shoulder against Manchester City (2:3) on Tuesday. The club announced this on Thursday following an MRI scan.
It remains to be seen how long the 20-year-old will miss. Simons will most likely not be available for the league match against 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky). However, if his recovery goes well, Simons could be back in action next week in the top match at Borussia Dortmund.
