Timo Werner shows interest in staying with Tottenham in the Premier League. No decision yet on whether to buy the striker.

Timo Werner can well imagine staying with Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. "I enjoy it very much. Playing with the team, with this style, this stadium. I love it here," the international footballer told English TV channel Sky Sports.

Werner is on loan to the London club from RB Leipzig until the end of the season. Spurs have the option to buy the 28-year-old for 17 million euros. No decision has been made yet. Coach Ange Postecoglou described Werner as a "great new signing" last week. A decision on how to proceed with the striker will be made "in due course".

Werner has made eleven Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Spurs are in fourth place in arguably the strongest league in the world and have a very good chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

Werner went on loan to north London in January to get more playing time. In Leipzig, the Swabian was just striker number five. At Spurs, Werner wants to recommend himself for the home European Championships starting in mid-June. However, he was not in the squad for the recent international matches against France and the Netherlands.
