The Thuringian Bundesliga handball team put in a strong performance at the start of the group stage in the European League. A preliminary decision was already made in the first half against Larvik.

The Bundesliga handball club Thüringer HC got off to a scoreless start in the group stage of the European League. The team of Head Coach Herbert Müller defeated the Norwegian top club Larvik HK by a surprisingly clear 43:35 (23:12) on Saturday evening. Johanna Reichert was once again the THC's best scorer.
