To stabilize its defence, newly promoted ThSV Eisenach has made another personnel addition. The Bundesliga handball club has signed the experienced Estonian Mait Patrail, who already played in the 24:26 defeat in Lemgo on Thursday evening. The 35-year-old backcourt player has signed a contract until the end of the season. Patrail has already played for Lemgo, Hannover-Burgdorf and the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the German league.
The club from Thuringia, which started the season as the clear outsider, suffered its seventh defeat in a row in Lemgo. After a good start to the season, ThSV now occupy penultimate place with three wins and one draw from 15 games. However, they are only two points behind 16th place, which is enough to secure their place in the league.
