The ThSV Eisenach handball team suffered its third consecutive loss in the Bundesliga. Coach Sebastian Hinze’s team fell to TVB Stuttgart 28–33 (15–16) in front of a home crowd. In front of 2,436 spectators, left wing David Móré stood out as the Thuringians’ top scorer with seven goals; the team remains in 15th place with 3:11 points. The Stuttgart team, coached by former Eisenach success coach Misha Kaufmann, got off to a much better start and led 8–4 after eleven minutes. Subsequently, the hosts tightened up their defense significantly. Because they also moved the ball much faster on offense, they were back within striking distance by halftime. After the break, however, the Eisenach team struggled to find solutions against the Swabians’ compact defense and fell behind 18–23 by the 45th minute. Although Hinze’s players didn’t give up, they were no longer able to threaten the strong Stuttgart team. Copyright 2026, dpa (www.dpa.de). All rights reserved
