René Witte is no longer managing director of the handball Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach. As the club announced, both sides have parted ways by mutual agreement with immediate effect. Witte was in a position of responsibility for the club for almost eight years and made a significant contribution to the development of ThSV. Günter Oßwald and Peter Krauß will take over Witte's duties with immediate effect. This internal succession plan ensures continuity in the management of ThSV Eisenach, the club emphasized.
"In a very open discussion, René Witte and those responsible came to the mutual conclusion that now is the right time for change. So that both sides can prepare for this, we have mutually agreed to terminate René's employment immediately," said the ThSV press release.
