The RB Leipzig women's soccer team will face 1. FC Köln at the start of the new Bundesliga season. This will be the third time in a row that the Cologne side will be the first opponent for coach Jonas Stephan's team. This time, however, the RB women will travel to the cathedral city from September 5-8. After that, things get tough for the Leipzig team. Their first home opponent will be double winners FC Bayern Munich (September 12-15), followed by Eintracht Frankfurt (September 19-22).
The East duels will take place in October and November. Promoted 1. FC Union Berlin awaits the Saxon team on matchday 7 (October 17 - 19). FC Carl Zeiss Jena will visit Leipzig on matchday 9 (November 4 - 6). The calendar year will conclude with the second half of the season against 1. FC Köln on the fourth weekend of Advent (December 19-22).
