Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has finalized its summer schedule and arranged two additional friendly matches. According to the club, the team led by new head coach Martin Demichelis will face Regionalliga side VSG Altglienicke in its first friendly on July 18—five days after the start of training—at SSV Markranstädt’s Stadion am Bad (2:00 p.m.).
This will be followed by friendly matches against third-division side FC Ingolstadt on July 25 (2:00 p.m.) and against SC Verl on August 1 (12:00 p.m.), both in Leipzig. After the match, the Bulls will travel to a training camp in Saalfelden until August 7. From Austria, RB will fly to northern England to face English Premier League newcomer Leeds United on August 8 (3:00 p.m. CEST).
A week later, on August 15, they’ll play an away match against champions Bayern Munich, followed by the season opener on August 16. Six days later, Demichelis will make his competitive debut in the first round of the DFB Cup against Regionalliga side Eintracht Trier (6:00 p.m.).
