RB has announced two new signings. A defender is joining from Belgium, and a talented forward is joining from Switzerland.

RB Leipzig, a team in the Women's Bundesliga, has signed Jasmien Mathys and Emanuela Pfister. Mathys, a 24-year-old right back, joins Leipzig from Belgian first-division club AA Gent Ladies. Pfister, a 19-year-old forward, previously played for Grashopper Club Zürich. Both players have signed contracts through 2029.

Mathys brings a wealth of experience, dynamism, and athleticism to RB. She played in the Belgian Super League for six years, appearing in 136 matches. In April, she made her debut for the Belgian national team. Following Aude Waldbillig, Sara Pusztai, and Linde Veefkind, she is already the fourth new addition to the Leipzig squad from the Belgian league.

Pfister, who was born in Brazil, is considered a top offensive prospect. She made her professional debut at just 15 years old. With 11 goals, she was the Grashoppers’ top scorer in the 2024–25 season. She is a member of Switzerland’s U19 national team at the European Championship.
