RB Leipzig has extended the contract with goalkeeper Leopold Zingerle by one year ahead of schedule. The 30-year-old will now remain with the Bundesliga club until the end of June 2026. Zingerle moved to Saxony from second-division club SC Paderborn in the summer of 2023. The former Magdeburg player is the clear number three among the goalkeepers and has yet to make a competitive appearance for Leipzig. Zingerle is joined in the squad by Peter Gulacsi and Maarten Vandevoordt.
