In the final game of the first half of the season on Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt (3.30pm/Sky), RB Leipzig can increase their tally of wins to eleven. Only in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga premiere season had the Saxons won more games (twelve).
The visiting team has always had a bad hand in duels with RB. Eintracht have never recorded an away win. There have been seven wins and seven draws in the 14 games. Eintracht's best result in Leipzig was three draws and they have never led at the Red Bull Arena.
RB have not been beaten at home in twelve Bundesliga games. If they can do the same against Eintracht, the team would equal the club record of 13 unbeaten home games in a row from the 2019/2020 season.
RB coach Marco Rose has a top record against Eintracht. He has never lost to Frankfurt in his Bundesliga spells at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig.
RB have scored 16 goals in their 14 Bundesliga games to date. Yussuf Poulsen is Leipzig's top scorer from the current squad with four goals against the Hessians. Timo Werner (4 goals) and Emil Forsberg (3), who moved to Tottenham and New York during the winter break, are also among the multiple scorers.
