The Niners Chemnitz basketball team has suffered its fourth successive defeat in the German league. The team of Head Coach Rodrigo Pastore suffered a clear 67:86 (32:42) defeat at home to the Würzburg Baskets. Corey Davis Jr. and Kevin Yebo were the Niners' best scorers in front of 4,436 spectators with 20 points apiece.
Chemnitz quickly trailed by 0:6 and revealed major problems with the visitors' quick transition play, which gave them a comfortable 27:13 lead by the end of the first quarter. The home side then improved considerably in defense and regained its accuracy from the foul line in offense.
