Magdeburg Cup Showdown in Munich, Live on ARD

1. FC Magdeburg will be featured live on ARD’s evening programming. The highly anticipated DFB Cup match against FC Bayern Munich will be broadcast live on *Das Erste* on October 28. The match, kicking off at 8:45 p.m., will wrap up the second round of the DFB Cup.

Earlier, at 6:00 p.m., Dynamo Dresden will host Bundesliga newcomer FC Schalke 04 in another regional cup showdown. As early as Tuesday, October 27 (6:00 p.m.), RB Leipzig will face third-division side Rot-Weiss Essen. 

The round of 16 will be played on December 1 and 2, and the final will take place on May 29, 2027, at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
