Castello Lukeba has returned to team training at RB Leipzig. The central defender has recovered from his adductor injury and could once again be an alternative in the back four for the top match in the Bundesliga this Saturday (18:30/Sky) at Bayer Leverkusen. Nicolas Seiwald, who missed the Union game (3:1) due to an infection, is also back on board.
Head coach Ole Werner was still without captain and international David Raum, who recently complained of groin pain, in the battle to qualify for the Champions League. The left-back trained individually, as did Ezechiel Banzuzi following his capsule injury in his knee.
