RB Leipzig want to take revenge for their record home defeat against VfL Wolfsburg and advance to the semi-finals of the DFB Cup. The team of criticized coach Marco Rose will host Lower Saxony on Wednesday (20:45/Sky) in the last quarter-final. Wolfsburg had won 5-1 in the league at the end of November against the Saxons, who had never lost so heavily at home in the Bundesliga before.
"We let the game out of our hands relatively quickly," said Rose. "We have to watch their pace, their switching. Wolfsburg have developed well overall. It's difficult to score goals against them and create chances. We've thought about something to counter their momentum."
