SC DHfK Leipzig earned an important point in the fight against relegation from the German Handball League. The record champions THW Kiel earned a well-deserved 28:28 (13:14). The best scorers in the game were Nikola Bilyk with six goals for Kiel and Staffan Peter with eight for Leipzig.
The THW, which was without the injured Elias Ellefsen á Skipagøtu and Eric Johansson, among others, got off to a good start and led 4:1 in the 5th minute.
