FC Bayern Munich can once again rely on Konrad Laimer for the Bundesliga home game against RB Leipzig. The former RB professional suffered a torn muscle bundle in his left calf in the Bundesliga match against Union Berlin at the end of January and has been out since then. The Austrian will be able to play against his former club on Saturday (18:30/Sky).
On the other hand, the German soccer champions will still have to do without numerous players. Kingsley Coman, Sacha Boey, Noussair Mazraoui, Bouna Sarr, Serge Gnabry and Alphonso Davies are still out. Dayot Upamecano is suspended.
"Leipzig is a super tough game. The recent results against Leipzig speak for themselves," said coach Thomas Tuchel on Friday. "Leipzig have a lot of things that can hurt us." Leipzig have not lost any of their last four competitive matches against FC Bayern. The Saxons even won 3-0 in Munich in the Super Cup at the start of the season.
